Is this a demo? N,o must be a full CD. 6 tracks in 65 minutes ...What can I say now? There are good basics and it sounds really good sometimes. The problem is the tracklength. Doom Metal isn't that diversified. I gotta write this down here: The Words That Crawled 12:2, It Almost Looked Human 7:20, The Insolent Caul 10:06, Narcissistic Funeral 13:3, My Sullen Sulcus 11:22, Angers Streaming Arrows 10:41.Unattached the quality, this is far too long. It's nearly always the same speed. Sorry but it's boring. If I wanna hear one hour of the same stuff, I can also stay at a Disco. This album would be great, when the tracks would be lowered down to approximately 5 min. It's always the same anyway, so why not cut off 2/3?Track 3 and 4 begin with a very nice guitar riff. Why couldn't I find it back in the middle of the song? Something that loosens this up. I know it's gotta be melancholy and hauling but there are ways to loose it up without sounding happy.
No, this isn't what I want. I like the vocals, one time clean the next grunts, but altogether The Sullen Sulcus is too prosy. It is very good produced and the sound is 100 % but what for? Next time please use shorter songs, then it'll be better.
Last but not least this is supposed to be a multimedia CD. My explorer says that there is more than only music on it, but how to open it? Seems to be pictures or some kind of this, but in an unknown format. So next time please use standards, ok?
