Mourning Beloveth - "Dust" The previous demos of this Irish band have been reviewed in our first issue, which has been released last year and I should refer to those for this album as well. Nothing has changed much, the lads are still playing doom-metal with links to old English bands (recorded in Academy studios, says enough?) and only the more frequent use of a "normal" voice is something what you could call progression. Although it tends at times to be little boring I really get a comfortable and nostalgic feeling listening to the heavy and slow-pulsing sounds of Mourning Beloveth. Another good release from a band with a heart on the right place! Jeroen
