Mourning Beloveth - "Dust"

Playing time of more than one hour and only five tracks? Man, I doubt that the guys play Speed Metal! And Irish MOURNING BELOVETH do not, they have written Doom with Death Metal-vocals onto their banner. Even though they almost exclusively play in slow-motion, the quartet has managed to implement so much variety into their sound that you never have the feeling that the song were too long, but by using different tonal colours and the clever infusion of clean vocals they keep up the tension within the songs. And the best thing is that like almost all other Irish bands, as examples I'll state CRUACHAN, PRIMORDIAL, WAYLANDER or the a bit weird GEASA, they do not sound like their clansmen from the continent, but have their very own sound, which sets them off the mainstream. All Doomsters, who don't always need clear, elegiac voices just have to check out MOURNING BELOVETH!
