Mourning Beloveth - "Dust" It’s crystal clear that, having already reviewed “Dust”
when the album was still an independent release, I don’t feel too
obliged to pick up my most eloquent prose to talk to you about it. Not
that this album leaves me indifferent, quite the contrary, but I don’t
usually repeat myself. So, if you’re really interested, just type
the band’s name in our “search-box” and the trick will
be pulled. I would like, on the other hand, to dwell on the two bonus
tracks Sentinel was so clever to put on the official version of this album.
The first one is “It Almost Looked Human”, a new song (in
still unmixed version) that will be on our dearest Irish Doomsters’
next record (and of which we know that it will be called “The Sullen
Sulcus”). This is great work, reflecting the band’s compository
talent again. After a brief but scrumptious incursion in the future, Mourning
Beloveth takes a stroll in the past with “Forever Lost Emeralds”,
a song issued from their demo “Autumnal Fires” that was created
in 1998. When you listen to it, you’ll notice that Darren’s
voice is now way more “civilized”... Anyway, I absolutely
advise you to discover this band if you haven’t already...
