< BACK TO INDEX

Greetings again we are now back with regular updates following two months of drinking and having fun. Mourning Beloveth are resting from the live scene at the moment and concentrating on new songs for our next release tentatively entitled "My Sullen Sulcus" and with four songs written and probably two more to come it looks like another lengthy album Plans are to record at the end of April 02 again in Academy and with Mags at the helm. Academy has recently moved premises so we will see how this turns out. Song titles so far are "The Words That Crawled" , "My Sullen Sulcus" and "It Almost Looked Human" and an untitled piece as yet. The songs are lengthy with emphasis on heaviness and melodies and myself and Franks dual vocals. A lot of work needs to be done as yet and we are also planning on releasing a dvd with the next album. Time will tell.
There is still no word on any label interest. We were in initial negotiations with an American label but this fell through. We have done this on our own before and are willing to do it again so holding out for the right deal is no problem.

Plans are afoot to record a split 10" with French/German Doom band Worship. It will be dedicated to the memory of Max (Ocean Morphique zine and Worship) who sadly killed himself recently. We will probably re-record Forever Lost Emeralds (Max's favourite song) in November and have it out for Christmas.
We now have Dust t-shirts available with full colour logo on the front and the "window" and a quote on the back. Any money made from these is being put straight back into our next recording so …..

As you may have gathered our European tour following Wacken didn't happen but we have already begun plans for an assault next year. So any foreign bands , concert promoters get in touch.

Until next month.
