May 2002 Newsletter
We have returned from a gruelling two weeks in the new Academy studios. The album is complete and has a running time of 65 minutes with six songs, they are
The Words that Crawled
It Almost Looked Human
The Insolent Caul
Untitled
My Sullen Sulcus
Angers Steaming Arrows.
Academy has now turned digital and things proceed alot quicker than the old place and although it has lost some character you would still know it was that Academy (Magz) sound.
I could talk for a long time about the development from the old stuff to the new stuff but it is best keep these things brief, suffice to say that any fans of previous Mourning Beloveth material will not be disappointed with the new material. It is basically just MORE Mourning Beloveth ie Epic,Crushing and Miserable. Keep your eyes and ears here as soon we will have some samples of the new album on the site.
We also played a gig in Leeds with our friends Unsilence while recording. This was our first appearence in a year and although a bit rusty it was a workmanlike performance.
In the meantime Sentinel Ireland are hard at work preparing everything for the re-release of Dust which should hit the shops in July. This will feature new artwork, some photographs of the band and a new, unmixed song together with Forever Lost Emeralds from our second demo.
Until next time.
