Mourning Beloveth enter the studio on December 7 and 8 to record a new track for the split 7" with fellow dark metallers Lunar Gate. The track is as yet untitled but will be part 1 and there will be more to come in the Spring next year.

Mourning Beloveth have penned a one album deal with Norway's Aftermath Music, run by Haavard Holm. Aftermath is a small,independent label releasing dark music for the last three years and boasts bands such as Runemagick and Nocturnal Winds.This deal will see the release of The Sullen Sulcus on November 25th. Some licensing deals in the US,Russia and Japan are also in the pipeline, all through Aftermath. The cd will be available worldwide before xmas.Check your local metal press for information and ads.

September 2002 Newsletter

To coincide with the release of their second album, Mourning Beloveth will take the tentative steps on a european tour entitled The Doomination of Europe with fellow doomsters Morgion (US) and The Prophecy (UK) from February 7th to February 21st. The tour will hit Ireland,UK,Belgium,Holland,Germany,Poland,Czech Republic along with one or two other countries.

August 2002 Newsletter

Sentinel Records has just re-released the highly acclaimed Dust cd including new artwork and layout, two extra tracks, namely Forever Lost Emeralds and It Almost Looked Human (from the forthcoming album The Sullen Sulcus). Dust will go on general release through Shellshock next month and should be available in stores nationwide.

We have returned from a gruelling two weeks in the new Academy studios. The album is complete and has a running time of 65 minutes with six songs, they are The Words that Crawled, It Almost Looked Human, The Insolent Caul, Untitled, My Sullen Sulcus, Angers Steaming Arrows.

Mourning Beloveth are putting the final touches to "The Sullen Sulcus", the follow up to last years debut Cd "Dust". April will see the MB crew again head to Academy studios, under the watchful eye of Mags, to record. Eight songs have been written so far titles include "It Almost Looked Human", "My Sullen Sulcus", "I Saw a Dead Child in your Arms" and "The Words that Crawled".
